MEET & GREET: The opposition leader is tonight at the Golden Sheaf Hotel in Sydney’s east, as he attempts to shore up votes ahead of the federal election.
“Normally I drink at more dingy pubs in the inner west, but tonight I thought I’d try something a little different,” Anthony Albanese told DBT.
It comes after he purchased a white linen shirt for his recent photo shoot with the Australian Women’s Weekly.
“I also got a new pair of chino’s which I’m wearing again tonight,” says Albanese. “It’s a great beer garden here, but the drinks are a bit expensive, haha.”
The Labor leader says he’s also considering getting a mullet haircut, similar to the one used to have in his 20’s.
“Well actually, not one of those old style mullets, just like the more subtle ones you see around here in the east.”
And, as reported earlier by DBT, Mr Albanese has a lunch reservation at Totti’s Bondi tomorrow.
