Marrickville Real Estate Agent Adds ‘Water Views’ To Sign After Today’s Heavy Localised Flooding

BIT RICH: A local real estate agent is moving quickly to take advantage of record rainfall and flash flooding across Sydney’s inner west today.

Paul Lambert has updated the For Sale sign at 33 Pembroke Rd, Marrickville to include the words ‘Water Views, even though its a 30 minute drive to the closest point of Sydney Harbour.

“It’s actually not false advertising,” says the agent. “The upper level views at this place are outstanding at the moment.”

It’s understood the home’s current owners have evacuated and decided to sell, as the area braces for more flood waters.

“It’s a great opportunity,” says Lambert. “But get in quick, because the low price and the water views won’t last long.”

Heavy rain fall is forecast to continue for the rest of the week.
