A Sydney woman has woken to hear about the tragic death of football legend Diego Maradonna.
“My friend just told me about it on the phone,” says Cynthia Normanhurst. “I literally can’t believe it.”
But DBT understands Ms Normanhurst is confused about the situation.
“I love Madonna so much,” says the 80’s music devotee. “Her songs have had such a massive impact on my life.”
In a bid to clear up the misunderstanding, our reporters told her the music icon is alive and well, and that it’s the former Argentinian footballer Diego Maradonna who has sadly died.
“Oh, I’ve never heard of him,” she says. “I don’t follow sports-ball.”
