Vaucluse teenager’s 16th birthday takes dark turn after she’s gifted a new Porsche Cayenne instead of the keys to her first home

SOUR SIXTEEN: Celebrations at a Vaucluse mansion descended into chaos after the birthday girl discovered the keys inside her present were for a brand-new Porsche Cayenne.

Sixteen-year-old Felicity Argyle-McGraw was eagerly anticipating the milestone moment when she would finally receive the keys to her own multimillion-dollar inner city apartment.

But her hopes were dashed when she was instead given the $200,000 SUV.

“I thought it was a joke at first,” Ms Argyle-McGraw told DBT, still wiping tears from her face.

“The Porsche isn’t even that big a step up from the BMW I currently own.”

The year 11 student says her best friend Lisa was gifted an apartment overlooking Bondi Beach for her 16th birthday.

“I think my parents are punishing me, but I’m not sure what I’ve done wrong.”
