PM announces new helpline for people who missed out on tickets to see Taylor Swift
YOU NEED TO CALM DOWN: It’s been a harrowing week for the millions of people who tried and failed to secure tickets to see pop sensation Taylor Swift in concert.
“That’s why the federal government is stepping in to help,” says PM Anthony Albanese. “It’s crucial we provide emotional support during this difficult time.”
The ‘Swift Support’ hotline is staffed by qualified counsellors, working around the clock from a large call centre in Sydney’s north west.
“It’s a free call to the helpline, and callers can remain anonymous if they wish,” says the PM.
DBT understands Anthony Albanese himself failed to snag a Swift ticket, prompting the hotline initiative.
“You are not alone,” he says. “And think of all the money you saved!”
“Either way please look after your mental health and feel free to call 1300 777 989 anytime.”
