Petter Dutton urges son to switch to cheaper, cleaner and more consistent forms of energy
RACK OFF DAD: Peter Dutton is urging his son to embrace “cheaper, cleaner and more consistent forms of energy,” following a recent photograph of the son with a clear zip lock bag containing a small amount of a white substance.
Tom Dutton, 18, was photographed with what was described as a “birthday day treat” at a Surfer’s Paradise apartment on the Gold Coast.
His father, the federal opposition leader Peter Dutton – who champions nuclear power as an energy solution for Australia – is calling on his son to switch to less expensive and more sustainable sources of personal energy.
“Look, we all need a bit of energy to get through the day,” Dutton quipped during a press briefing.
“But I’ve told my son there are far cheaper, cleaner and more consistent options out there”
“What about just coffee, Red Bull, or just fresh fruit and vegetables? Pop a Sudafed or two for all I care.”
