NRL Grand Final pre-game entertainment confirmed: Peter V’landys to perform after failing to find a headline act

A LITTLE LESS CONVERSATION: NRL boss Peter V’landys will perform a 15-minute Elvis Presley tribute act as the official pre-game entertainment for Sunday’s Grand Final.
It follows a complete breakdown in negotiations with international musical artists.
“I’ve got the voice, the charisma and a white jumpsuit on standby,” V’landys told reporters during a press conference at League Central.
V’landys reportedly began rehearsing in the NRL boardroom this morning while staff searched for a suitable pair of rhinestone sunglasses.
His performance will open with A Little Less Conversation, followed by a 3-minute monologue about broadcast rights.
The NRL insists the booking is not a last-minute fallback.
“Peter was always an option,” said a spokesperson.
