New data confirms walking around Westfield Bondi Junction in activewear counts as exercise

ACTIVE WHERE? A groundbreaking new report has confirmed what many eastern suburbs residents have long suspected: strolling around Westfield Bondi Junction in head-to-toe Lululemon does, in fact, count as a workout.

“It’s low impact, high visibility,” says local GP Dr. Pippa Longley-Wills, who co-authored the study.

“You’re running errands, climbing escalators, dodging people, and occasionally doing lunges toward shop shelves.”

Local resident Tiffany Blaine-Wilson says she’s ditched the gym entirely.

“It’s honestly better than Virgin Active,” she said. “It should actually be called CrossFit.”

“My quads are on fire after doing four circuits between Zara and Kookai.”

For the more hardcore fitness enthusiast, Bondi Junction also offers Puppy Yoga, where participants wear activewear and play with puppies.

Yoga is completely optional.

The report also shows that walking around Eastgate and Westfield Eastgardens in activewear does not count as exercise.

In fact, shopping at Westfield Eastgardens cause weight gain.
