Man clicks ‘unmute’ for the first time during work Zoom call, just to say goodbye

OVER & OUT: A local tech firm employee has shocked colleagues on a Zoom call while working from home today.
Simon Schiller came off mute for the first time during a 40 minute zoom call just to say: “Goodbye, chat soon.”
“I don’t think I’ve ever heard his voice before,” one of his colleagues told DBT. “It took us all by surprise.”
Simon Schiller is known to his colleagues as a diligent, but always silent Zoom call attendee.
“I actually don’t even know what he looks like, because he always has his camera switched off,” says another colleague.
DBT tried calling Simon Schiller for an interview for this story, but he didn’t pick up as it’s believed his phone is on silent.
