Local Man Admits To Panic Buying Marijuana In Preparation For Coronavirus

As the coronavirus spreads, millions of people around the world are being forced into quarantine.

Those showing signs of respiratory tract infection or fever are told to stay away from work and self-isolate.

One Sydney man says he’s prepared.

“I wouldn’t mind staying home from work to be honest,” says Rob Morrison. “I’ve been stockpiling.”

The 30 year old stoner from Bondi Junction admits to panic buying marijuana in preparation for illness.

“Initially I was a bit worried there might be supply chain issues, but I soon found out there’s no shortage.”

Now – even while fully healthy – the Bondi Junction man says he’s staying home most of the time anyway.

“I told my boss I’m just being cautious,” he says.
