Local Drug Dealer Gives Up Selling Amphetamines And Moves Into Toilet Paper

A Sydney drug dealer has moved into the lucrative new black market for toilet paper.

“The mark up on this stuff is incredible at the moment,” Marcus Shore told DBT. “I know a few other drug dealers who are now also looking to focus on toilet paper.”

The new underground market comes as supermarkets run out of toilet paper amid coronavirus panic buying.

“The market is pumping at the moment. It’s a no brainer,” says Shore. “I’ve got the good stuff too, pure white, 3-ply Sorbent. It’s soft, but strong.”

Shore estimates he has more than 2600 toilet paper rolls with a current street value of $4500.

“I’m holding it in an inner city abandoned warehouse, so clients can come here, but I’m also open to doing delivery,” he says.

Police say they’re investigating.

More to come.
