Aged Care Worker Enrols As Student At St Joseph’s College In Desperate Bid To Get Vaccinated

JABS FOR THE BOYS: A Sydney aged care worker has announced a bold plan to head back to high school.

27 year old Phil Pence has enrolled as a year 12 student at St Joseph’s College, in a desperate attempt to get the Covid-19 vaccine.

It comes after news yesterday that more than 160 of the elite private school’s students received the Pfizer vaccine, despite not being eligible.

“For some bizarre reason, NSW Health is prioritising elite private school students over aged care workers,” says Pence. “Going back to school seems like my best hope.”

Pence says he’s very anxious about having to re-do the HSC, after finishing year 12 nine years ago and then completing a nursing degree.

“It’s also going to set me back me $40,000 in school fees,” he says. “But hopefully I’ll be able to get the jab as soon as possible, so I can get back to work safely.”
