New co-working space opens in Bondi for locals who want to appear like they have a job
HUSTLE CULTURE: Bondi has unveiled its newest co-working space, designed exclusively for locals who aspire to look busy without the actual burden of employment.
Located on Campbell Parade, just steps from Bondi Beach, the space is called: ‘My Office For The Day.’
“There’s growing demand for spaces where people can gather, sip lattes, and effortlessly appear to be working,” explained founder Joe Kingston.
The facility, which opened last week, is proving very popular, even with the $75 per visit entry fee.
“I just love the vibe,” said one local trust fund recipient.
“I can spend quality time with likeminded people and brainstorm business ideas and then write them down on napkins.”
‘My Office For The Day,’ features inspirational quote walls with sayings like “Fake It Till You Make It” and “Busy is the New Black.”
“We also have selfie stations for capturing the perfect work-from-home illusion on social media,” says Joe Kingston.
“There are also pretend meetings where members can nod thoughtfully without contributing.”
