Netflix announces internal investigation into who thought a documentary about Raygun was a good idea

BREAKING POINT: Netflix has launched an urgent internal investigation to determine who approved a documentary about Australian breakdancer Raygun.

Senior executives are reportedly combing through emails, meeting notes and Slack messages in an attempt to establish how the project made it this far.

“We want to name and shame. The person responsible may still be working here,” said one Netflix executive. “We owe our subscribers an explanation.”

Staff involved in commissioning the documentary have been asked to surrender their laptops and explain exactly what they were thinking.

Netflix says the investigation could take several weeks, with early evidence suggesting everyone assumed somebody else had approved it.

Despite the investigation, Netflix says the documentary will still be released next month, as “far too much money has already been spent.”
