“If I don’t like it, I’ll just return it,” says local woman who never gets around to returning anything
DELULU: A Sydney woman is continuing to reassure herself that her online shopping sprees are risk free.
“If I don’t like it, I’ll just return it,” Marta Miller proclaimed, clicking ‘Add to Cart’ on yet another summer dress in the middle of November.
“Online shopping is so convenient, and there’s no commitment.”
However, the mountain of unopened and unused items in Ms Millar’s wardrobe and hallway tells a different story.
A DBT investigation has found that the 28 year old Bellevue Hill woman has never returned anything in her life.
“There’s zero chance of her taping any of the packages back up and taking them to the post office,” says her roommate.
“I’ve never seen her do it once.”
When questioned about it, Marta Millar remains unfazed.
“Look, life gets busy!” she says. “Between work, yoga, and watching Fboy Island.”
“Besides, you never know when you might need a neon-green blazer. Fashion is cyclical!”
In the meantime, local donation centres might soon receive an influx of brand-new clothing, if only she could find the time to drop them off.
