“Going away this winter?” asks eastern suburbs man, only so he can launch into 5 minute monologue about his upcoming euro holiday

EURO FLEX: At a CBD cafe today a Bondi man feigned interest in his colleague’s travel plans, only as a springboard to talk about his own luxury Euro trip.

“Going away this winter?” asked Fabian Teague-Wright.

“I think I’m just going to visit my grandmother in Wollongong,” said the colleague.

“That sounds nice,” replied Teague-Wright.

“I’ll actually be slumming it in St Tropez for a week, then Monte Carlo, then I’m heading over to Florence and Bologna in Italy. for a few weeks.”

“You know, nothing major.”

The colleague attempted to change the subject to Sydney’s rain forecast over the weekend, however Teague-Wright segued back to his Euro trip.

“Yeah it should be nice and warm in Europe,” he said.

“I booked my flights today, business class, using my dad’s frequent flyer points.”
