Australian Conservation Foundation Releases ‘Climate Change Deniers Near Me’ App

The Australian Conservation Foundation (ACF) has released a new app designed to help users avoid climate change deniers.
“Despite scientific evidence, some people continue to believe climate change isn’t at least partially man-made,” says the ACF’s Lilly Marsh.
“We want our app users to be able to easily avoid having to talk to these people.”
The app currently relies on users reporting the location of known climate change deniers.
“We then start tracking their movements,” says Lilly Marsh. “Over time, we’ll be able to offer up to date information, with notifications, to users if any climate deniers are nearby.”
The app is currently free to download in the Apple App Store.
