#BREAKING: Mushroom killer Erin Patterson escapes from jail after completing her course of taxpayer-funded Ozempic
September 8, 2026
ON THE RUN: The Victorian government’s decision to give Erin Patterson Ozempic in jail has backfired.
A manhunt is now underway after the triple murderer became thin enough to escape by squeezing between the bars of her cell.
CCTV shows Patterson turning sideways, breathing in and carefully shuffling through a 14-centimetre gap.
The mother of two is currently serving a life sentence with a non-parole period of 33 years after her deadly mushroom-laced beef wellington left three dead.
Patterson denies poisoning the group and has since launched an appeal.
Victoria Police are urging the public not to approach Patterson and to politely decline any offers of beef wellington.
