#BREAKING: Mosman family in damage control after daughter announces engagement to man from Neutral Bay

CLASS DIVIDE: A prominent Mosman family are in crisis mode after their eldest daughter announced she’s accepted a wedding proposal from a Neutral Bay man.

“Maybe Cremorne would be ok, but this is getting ridiculous,” the mother told DBT, even though Neutral Bay is Mosman’s neighbouring suburb.

It’s understood the future groom has a stable job in finance and his two and a half bedroom apartment is only a four minute drive away.

“We raised her better than this,” said the mother, visibly shaken while staring out over Middle Harbour.

The family has reportedly cancelled all social commitments as they decide how to explain the situation to friends.
