Telstra Technician Tells Customer He’ll Arrive ‘Sometime Between March And June’

TIMELY SERVICE: Telstra technician Jason Branson has given himself a four month window to arrive at a client’s home to install a modem.

Mother of two Monica Dale ordered the modem three weeks ago and last night was finally notified by Telstra that a technician would be in touch via SMS.

“I can be at your place sometime March and June,” wrote Jason Branson, “I’ll call you on approach.”

Ms Dale says it’s just not good enough.

“Am I meant to just sit at home waiting for him for up to 4 months straight? As much as I need the modem, there are other things in my life I need to do, like my full-time job.”

Our reporters contacted the 28 year old Telstra sub contractor for an explanation.

“I just have to see how the next few months play out,” he said. “I’m pretty sure I’ll be able to fit that job in somewhere. We’ll see how I go.”
