Young couple’s relationship enters serious phase with first visit to the Moore Park Supa Centre
“This isn’t just any shopping trip!” they say.
RELATIONSHIP GOALS: Local couple Alex Turner and Emily Watson have taken a monumental step in their 12 month relationship: their first visit to the Supa Centre at Moore Park.
The pair, who’ve been dating for one year, and living together for two months, spent Saturday morning in the sprawling home furnishings complex.
“This isn’t just any shopping trip,” Alex admitted to DBT, “It’s a milestone, or at least trying to agree on a rug.”
Emily echoed his sentiments.
“You learn a lot about a person when you’re debating the merits of Egyptian cotton versus linen sheets,” she said thoughtfully.
“It’s a real compatibility test.”
Witnesses reported seeing the couple playfully fighting over their favourite sofa styles at Freedom Furniture.
Relationship experts say a joint visit to a home goods centre is a significant step forward.
“If you can survive the Supa Centre or IKEA together, you can survive anything, “says one psychologist.
Despite not buying anything, Emily’s mother has already started dropping hints about potential grandchildren.
