Waverley Council launches new health and fitness event at Bondi: ‘Sculpted by the Sea’

BONDI’S BEST: Waverley Council has unveiled a new wellness initiative aimed at celebrating “the artistic beauty of the human body.”

The event, Sculpted By The Sea, will feature some of Australia’s best known celebrities and influencers, whose finely tuned rigs will be on display along the Bondi to Tamarama coastal walk.

Among them will be Anthony ‘Harries’ Carroll from Bondi Rescue, fitness influencer Kayla Itsines, comedian Ed Kavalee and Bondi stalwart Dimitri Maskovich.

“This is the ultimate expression of fitness and art,” said a council spokesperson.

‘Sculpted by the Sea’ will begin as soon as its sister event ‘Sculptures by the Sea’ ends on November 3.

“We’ll have had enough of bronze statues by that point, instead we’ll be ready for actual bronzed people,” says the council.
