The U.S President says more needs to be done to stamp out gun violence.
In the wake of the latest US mass shootings which killed 29 people in Texas and Ohio, Donald Trump says he’s now willing to take matters into his own hands.
“I’ve had enough,” he told reporters at the White House. “From now on, I will be personally armed at all times.”
And he’s issued an aggressive warning to any future mass shooters.
“I’m ready for you. If I’m on the scene, you will not survive.”
The President is urging all U.S citizens to follow his lead.
“Together we can put an end to the blood shed,” says the President. “I urge all upstanding Americans to carry guns. We should all be equipped in order to defend themselves.”
Double Bay Today contacted the USA’s National Rifle Association for comment, but referred all questions to the White House.
