ACTIVE WHERE? Two eastern suburbs wellness influencers are attempting to blend in with the thousands of runners in Bondi after finishing the City2Surf today. However there is one glaring difference. They didn’t even start the race. “We pretty much only came to Bondi for the City2Surf after party at Bondi Hardware,” they admitted to DBT. SIGN OF THE TIMES: As the sun sets on another iconic City2Surf day, throngs of runners are still wearing their race bibs while making their way home. MORE MY SPEED: With just two days to go till the City2Surf, race organisers have introduced a race new category, to broaden the appeal of the fun run event. “Our new 1km dash is for those more interested in the social aspects of the race,” says a spokesperson. “Medals and race bibs included for post race selfies.” Participants in the new category will begin their race on Campbell Parade, and finish up at the Beach Road Hotel.
