Sydney real estate agent accuses politicians of being egotistical for having photos of their faces on so many large signs

SIGN OF THE TIMES: Ahead of tomorrow’s federal election, a Double Bay real estate agent is lashing out at politicians, accusing them of “egotistical overkill” for plastering their grinning faces on corflutes all over town.

But Simon Jennings-Jones is conveniently overlooking the 23 ‘for sale’ signs currently outside homes across the eastern suburbs featuring his own mug.

“Look at all these election campaign posters, it’s an absolute joke,” he told DBT while visiting a local polling centre.

Other real estate agents are also saying they are feeling overlooked.

“Sure we might have a few signs on houses, but these election posters are everywhere.”

In a late twist to the story, Simon Jennings-Jones says he’s now considering a career move into politics so he can join the fun.

“Politics would be way easier than real estate,” he claims.
