Sydney mum has Scots College sticker on her car, despite all her children attending Darlinghurst Public

STICKY SITUATION: A Sydney mother has been proudly displaying a Scots College sticker on the rear window of her luxury SUV.

But a DBT investigative unit has found that all of Sally McGill’s three sons attend Darlinghurst Public School.

After being tipped off by an eagled-eyed reader, DBT captured the above image of Ms McGill, and we asked her about the sticker.

“I’m borrowing a friend’s car,” The Woollahra woman replied, before quickly entering her vehicle and driving away.

Further investigation shows she has used the same car for at least two years, casting doubt on her claim.

On the condition of anonymity, a neighbour told DBT that Ms McGill has said in the past that she wants her sons to go to Scots College one day.

“It all seems a bit pretentious doesn’t it?” said the neighbour.

“But hey, if it makes her happy to pretend she’s part of the elite private school crowd, who am I to judge?”

UPDATE: Late today Sally McGill was seen carefully removing the sticker off her car.
