An ACT panel beater is gearing himself up for a surge of work following yesterday’s damaging hail storm.

“So far I’ve already got 11 cars out back that need major work,” says Jason Wade. “It’s going to be a hectic few weeks.”

To help out, he’s invested in an ounce of methamphetamine to share with one other colleague.

“We’ll be going hard,” he says. “It’ll be fun, but either way, there’s no way we could come close to getting through this work unassisted.”

The pair say they’ll be working with zero sleep for at least the next 5 days to make a start on the backlog of hail damaged vehicles.

“It’s all about working smarter,” he says.
