INFLUENZA: A local man has begun his quest for fame after starting a new Instagram account and buying a video camera plus tripod.
“This should be pretty easy,” Jason Hamil told DBT. “I’m using Google to find inspirational quotes and then I just regurgitate directly to camera.”
The 32 year old says he hopes to help others searching for the meaning of life by sharing short, sharp nuggets of wisdom like: “Don’t count the days, make the days count.”
“So far I only have 13 followers, but it’s growing fast,” says the self-appointed life coach.
“I think people are just naturally drawn to my soothing voice and on-camera presence.”
“If my account takes off, I might buy a ring light.”
Jason Hamil hasn’t ruled out a potential line of merchandise featuring his face and borrowed quotes on everything from coffee mugs to t-shirts.
“Everyone needs a bit of motivation, don’t they?” he added, before striding off to google ‘how to become a life coach.’
