Local woman buys $300K Land Rover Defender to tackle the speed humps in the Westfield Bondi Junction car park

OFF ROAD: A Dover Heights resident has invested in a 2026 Land Rover Defender P635 OCTA to improve her weekly shopping experience at Westfield Bondi Junction.
Sarah Mitchell-Pemberton forked out $304,500 for the vehicle, equipped with a twin-turbo V8 engine and advanced 6D Dynamics suspension.
The speed humps in the Westfield car park can be quite jarring,” she told DBT.
“Especially If i have cake or other delicate items in the car.”
The Defender also features a wider stance originally engineered for desert racing and rock crawling.
Ms Mitchell-Pemberton also owns a Porsche Cayenne.
“But I’m using that exclusively for trips to Pilates in Double Bay.”
