Local Instagram user severely overestimating how much her followers care about what she ‘eats in a day’
HUNGRY FOR ATTENTION: Jenny Paulson began posting ‘What I Eat In A Day’ videos began two years ago at the height of the social media trend of documenting every meal.
But her videos show no signs of abating.
“Food is such a big part of my life and my journey,” she says.
“I just want to inspire people to eat healthy and stay fit.”
From afternoon salads to late-night protein snacks, Jenny’s followers are treated to an unfiltered view of her dietary regimen, whether they like it or not.
A DBT survey of her 351 followers has revealed that 92% scroll past her food posts.
“I appreciate her dedication, but do I need to know the pH level of her alkaline water? Not really,” says one follower.
Despite averaging only a handful of likes, mostly from bots and that one aunt who comments on everything, Jenny Poulson remains undeterred.
“I want to show people how to balance their diet without being too obsessive,” she told DBT in an exclusive interview.
“Like, how to enjoy a slice of pizza without feeling guilty. People might actually like that.”
