A Sydney CEO has taken the drastic step of wearing a GoPro on his head at all times while at work.
“I record everything in case someone makes any claims against me,” says Ross Cromwell. “Nobody has tried, but I’m being extra vigilant.”
The 41 year old straps the camera onto his head at the start of each work day and leaves it recording all day.
“My staff say I look like a coal miner or something, but they’re getting used to it.”
Cromwell’s HR department says its concerned the CEO will watch back the footage unnecessarily.
“We are currently accessing if using the GoPro is legal,” says HR Manager Paul Gamil.
Until there’s a ruling, Cromwell says he’ll continue wearing it.
“I like it,” he says. “People tend to talk to me much less also, which is a solid bonus.”
