COST OF LIVING CRISIS: Local travel influencer now filming videos at new luggage shop, as he can’t afford flights anywhere

TRAVEL HACK: A visit to Flight Centre at Westfield Bondi Junction yesterday to book his next exotic getaway has ended in disappointment for one local travel influencer.

After realising how expensive the trip would be, Max Henderson was instead relegated to filming travel content at a more accessible location – the new Strand shop nearby.

“If I can’t travel to amazing destinations, I’ll bring the spirit of travel to my followers in a new way,” he told DBT.

The 33 year old Bondi man, known for his envy-inducing content from far-flung destinations every week, began filming himself interacting with various suitcases and travel accessories, narrating as if he were on one of his usual globe-trotting adventures.

“Hey travel tribe, have a look at this awesome Nere Stori Suitcase, perfect for navigating the cobblestone streets of Rome! haha,” he quipped in one video.

Confused shoppers looked on as he posed beside the luggage displays, offering tips on how to pack efficiently for trips that, for now at least, exist only in his imagination.
