CON DOM: NSW Premier blames the state’s housing crisis on overpopulation

FAMILY MATTERS: With a housing crisis rampant and a state election next week, the NSW Premier is urging residents to take a more disciplined approach to human reproduction.
“Please do not give in to temptation,” says Dominic Perrottet. “There are way too many people in this state already.”
NSW is home to more than 8 million people, and the residential vacancy rate in Sydney is at 9 year lows.
“Dating apps like Tinder and Bumble are partly responsible for overpopulation in NSW,” says Mr Perrottet.
“So my government is currently looking at ways to crack down on these types of apps.”
But critics say the Premier needs to practise what he preaches.
