#BREAKING: Sydney Royal Easter Show announces brand new ‘eastern suburbs’ showbag
ON THE BAGS: The Royal Easter show’s move from Moore Park to Olympic Park in Sydney’s west back in 1998 has led to a steady fall in visitor numbers from Sydney’s east.
But now show organisers are trying to reverse the trend, with a new ‘Eastern suburbs’ show bag.
“It’s absolutely brilliant,” gushed one Vaucluse man. “Finally, a show bag that speaks to my lifestyle.”
However, it doesn’t come cheap, setting buyers back $3500, making it easily the most expensive showbag ever.
Among the goodies in the bag; A free UberLux ride back home to the safety of the eastern suburbs, and a limited edition Venroy white shirt.
“There’s also a permanently rolled up $20 note for maximum efficiency in toilet cubicles,” say show organisers.
The bag also has an autographed photo of buyers agent to the stars Simon Cohen, and a window table reservation at Mimi’s Coogee.
“Secure prime position at one of Sydney’s most coveted restaurants,” says show organisers.
“But unfortunately food and drink are not included.”
