#BREAKING: Sydney family finally realise it was a hot day, after watching the 6pm news

OLD MEDIA: A Sydney family of three watching the evening news were shocked to find that today was in fact very hot.
“Wow, I didn’t realise,” said the father, Damian De Silva.
He said the news provided crucial clarity on weather conditions he and his family had been experiencing since approximately 7am this morning.
“It’s really important to stay up to date with current events, that’s why I watch the evening news,” he says.
“I particularly appreciated the live cross from the local swimming pool. Very innovative reporting.”
His wife Sarah told DBT she suspected it was a hot day when she began sweating while having a ciggie on her balcony.
The family say they’ll continue monitoring TV news bulletins to determine whether tomorrow will also be hot.
