#BREAKING: NSW Police Fine Man For Not Wearing Face Mask Into Service Station

CRACK DOWN: The NSW Premier has issued a reminder for all consumers to adhere to current public health orders by always wearing a face mask into indoor retail premises.

“Please, everyone in NSW needs to cover up,” says NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet. “There are no excuses.”

It comes after CCTV footage captured a man strolling into an Edgecliff service station without wearing a face mask.

The footage of the man paying for petrol is believed to have been recorded last Thursday.

Police have subsequently tracked the man down and fined him $200.

“This is gross misconduct,” says Dominic Perrottet. “All public health orders must be adhered to as covid cases are not falling fast enough.”

The man identified in the footage refused DBT’s interview request, however he did specify that he is “triple jabbed.”

“Yeah but what about the vaccine?” asked our reporter.

More to come.
