#BREAKING: Instagram unveils new ‘I’ve seen that reel before’ reaction emoji

BEEN THERE, DONE THAT: Instagram users are today welcoming a brand new emoji option which they say will help them save time while using the app.

“People often send me reels I’ve already seen,” says one man.

“But I can’t be bothered writing; ‘I’ve seen it before,’ so I just end up using the laughing face emoji.”

But now the popular social media app has rolled out the ‘I’ve seen that reel before’ emoji option.

“We just want users to respond genuinely on our platform,” says a statement from Instagram.

“Our new emoji gives users the perfect tool to say they’ve already seen a reel without seeming rude about it.”

Early adopters are praising the emoji’s ability to communicate mild frustration without descending into outright negativity.

“I’ve already used that emoji 14 times today,” says one Instagram user.
