Devastating bushfires and crippling drought have presented thousands of Sydney-siders with an Instagram opportunity.
Among them is 27 year old Bondi’s Rose Taylor.
The Bondi wellness expert has been posting copious amounts of red sun photos with captions like; “OMG tonight’s sunset is so beautiful.”
A DBT investigation has found she has absolutely no idea the sun’s colour is being caused by a mix of smoke and dust from devastating bushfire and drought conditions.
Hundreds of homes have been destroyed and drought-stricken farmers are struggling to make ends meet.
“I’m sorry to anyone I may have offended by my post,” Ms Taylor told DBT. ” I just thought the sunset looked really pretty.”
