Bondi Man Buys North Face Puffer Vest Ahead Of Weekend Trip To Blue Mountains
A Sydney man has splashed out $375 on a vest made by popular adventure clothing brand The North Face.
“I need it for a trip to the Blue Mountains, it gets pretty cold there, even in summer” Michael Bruce told DBT shortly after purchasing the item today at Westfield Bondi Junction.
The 35 year old derivatives trader is making the 90 minute drive west for a romantic getaway with his girlfriend this weekend for Valentine’s Day.
It’s understood he plans to wear the vest with a popped collar and loafers.
“We’re not doing any hiking or anything like that,” he says.” But we might do the cable car ride so the jacket will come in handy for that.”
The couple are staying at the upmarket Fairmont Resort at Leura.
“I know they have a really cool games room inside the hotel,” he says. “Even if I don’t end up wearing the vest much, it’ll be nice to wear to my nephew’s soccer matches.”
More to come.
