A Sydney entrepreneur and aspiring LinkedIn influencer is accused of using RU OK Day to promote her business and hide her own mental illness battles.
In a video she posted this morning, Janice Masters praised the RU OK Day initiative, before tenuously linking in back to her own social media business.
“It’s really important for people to feel good about themselves,” she said. “And that’s how I strive to make all my clients feel each and every day.”
But questions are being raised about Ms Masters’ own battles with depression, and her suitability to be a self-imposed RU OK Day spokesperson.
Despite being prolific on LinkedIn, DBT understands her actual business activity to be very low, resulting in extreme financial hardship.
