Ascham School announce new helicopter shuttle service so students & parents can avoid the traffic on New South Head Rd
HIGH SOCIETY: The daily commute to and from Ascham School is about to get much quicker and easier.
Students at the exclusive private girls school at Edgecliff will soon have the option of using a new helicopter service.
“From next week, students and their parents will no longer have to sit in the heavy traffic on New South Head Road,” says the school.
“Instead they’ll just soar above it.”
The new service – available for $500 per student, per flight – is expected to slash commute times by up to 95%.
Hundreds of Ascham families living in Sydney’s east have reportedly already signed up for the service.
“Honestly it’s a game changer,” says one Ascham parent from Vaucluse.
“There’s more than enough space in our front yard for the helicopter to safely land and take off.”
DBT understands rival schools are already considering one-upping Ascham with private submarine services for waterfront estates.
